Welcome to the Cherokee Scot Home Page

Cherokee Scot is a 3 year old colt, foaled on February 19, 2005 at Respite Farm, Kentucky. He is by the Breeders Cup champion sprinter Cherokee Run out of multi race winner Fancy Freda who was by Known Fact, a winner of the 2000 Guineas classic in England.

Cherokee Scot is named after a Scotsman, John Ross, who was chief of the Cherokee tribe from 1828 until his death in 1866.
